Michael Stieglmeier, better known as producer Meek, was born in 1988 in Bavaria, Germany. Being educated in playing classic cello & guitar at a renowned musician school and listening to his father's Funk, Blues & Soul cassettes Meek was surrounded by many genres from the early beginnings of his life.
After finishing school in 2008 he moved to Ratisbon where he followed his deep love for Reggae & Dancehall music by founding a soundsystem called “Yardcrime Intl.” together with two friends. By collecting unique riddims and recording vocals for dubplates Meek was introduced to the world of productions. Since then he was hooked and has never stopped producing ever since.
Meek is known for genre blending at its finest combining his influences in Blues, Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeats, Funk & Hip-Hop. After releasing many remixes and working with artists like Masego, The Writer, Agent Sasco, Fasina, Tera Kora, Le Mav and many more, he released his debut EP called “Curfew” which contains 5 remixes of artists from Nigeria, Jamaica, Miami and Trinidad.
In March 2018 Meek launched his homepage www.prodbymeek.com where he sells his own beats to customers all over the world.
